Recently a spectacular necklace, called Wow Factor, was juried into a major Glass Show in the San Francisco Bay area as well as a museum show at the Tucson Museum of Arts.
Adriana Walker was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and had the good fortune to be nurtured by a family who loved the arts and travel. Adriana’s innate talents and love of all things creative eventually led her to teach fused glass, water color painting and equestian classes for many years at Lassen Community College in CA. (She’s currently one score away from receiving a National Silver Medal in the competitive equestrian sport of Dressage.) The path in jewelry has been influenced from her own knowledge of the wet in wet application in water color. The colors of the fused glass pieces Adriana makes have that same luminescence and color created with water color. And her general artistic bent allows for the used of various semi precious materials and her own fused glass to be used in highly creative ways.
